At Dog Daze, your dog’s stay is a vacation! Our small dog kennel in Columbia, SC allows us to provide personalized attention, with multiple daily outings in a large fenced area. Your dog can run, play, and socialize under the supervision of our caring staff. During each outing, they can run, play ball, chase, jump on playground equipment, etc. Besides exercising and socializing with their packmates, they will receive attention each time out with a professional caring staff member.

What to Bring for Boarding

To minimize cross-contamination, please bring only your dog’s food, treats, one toy, and any medication. We provide bedding, food bowls, and slow feeders if needed. For ease of storage, we ask that food be packed in gallon-sized bags. We offer in-house food for $4.50/meal if needed. Please let us know if there has been a change in your dog’s health before boarding in our dog kennel. If you have a special diet for your dog or require refrigeration please inform us at check-in.

Vaccination & Health Requirements

To stay in our dog kennel, all dogs must have proof of current vaccinations, including rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Dogs should also be on a flea and tick program. Leptospirosis and K9 Influenza Vaccines are Optional. Please notify us of any health changes before boarding.

Dog Kennel Rules

Dogs must be housebroken and non-aggressive (towards people AND dogs). If your dog becomes aggressive or bites another dog or someone they can be removed from the facility and not allowed back into the building. No exceptions. You will be contacted if this happens.
No escape artists or destructive behaviors allowed (includes chewing or destroying personal property)
Additional fees apply for separate feedings, hand-walking, and nutrition needs
We do not board dogs in heat, serious health concerns, or with bloat risks
We require a brief history of the dog by phone or email before making a reservation.

Booking & Cancellations

A 3-day minimum is required for holiday stays, and a $25 fee applies to cancellations made within 48 hours of drop-off. Contact us to make a reservation or learn more about our boarding services. Please note, that if you are boarding multiple dogs and they need to be fed separately from one another, there is a $9/per-day fee.
