At Dog Daze, we offer customizable board and train programs for dogs ranging from 7 days to 6 weeks. We understand that every dog learns differently, so we use the most effective method – whether it’s treats, toys, or praise – to achieve your training goals.

Signature Skills Foundations - 1 Week

Our Signature Skills is a gentle introduction to foundational manners and communication. During your dog’s stay. they will receive daily structured training sessions focused on building confidence and understanding in a calm supportive environment.

This program includes light introduction to:

Leash Walking: Learning to walk politely on leash with guidance and reinforcement.
Sit & Hold: Introducing the sit cue and beginning duration, helping your dog learn to remain calmly seated for short periods.
Come (Recall): Establishing the basics of coming when called, emphasizing engagement, responsiveness, and fun.

Training is tailored to your dog’s individual pace, age, personality, with plenty of breaks, throughout the day. This program is ideal for puppies or adult dogs who are new to training or need a refresher on basics. At the end of the week, you’ll receive guidance on how to continue practicing these skills at home so you can build on your dog’s new foundation together.

Signature Skills Immersion - 2 Weeks

Our Signature Skills Stay is an immersive two-week board and train program that builds upon the foundations introduced in our one-week program. This extended stay allows your dog more time to practice, understand, gain confidence in their skills through consistent daily training, enrichment and real-life application.

The Signature Skills Stay also emphasizes:

Skill Reinforcement: Repetition and consistency to help behaviors become more reliable.
Confidence Building: Structured routines, enrichment activities, and calm exposure to new experiences.
Personalized Training: Sessions tailored to your dog’s age, temperament, and learning style.

Throughout their stay, dogs enjoy balanced days that include training, rest, play, and enrichment to support both metal and physical well-being. This program is ideal for dogs who are ready to move beyond introductions and benefit from extra time to solidify their foundational skills.

At the conclusion of the program, clients receive guidance on how to continue the training at home, ensuring a smooth transition and long-term success.

Signature Skills Advancement - 3 Weeks

Our 3-week program is an immersive, well rounded training experience designed to build strong foundations, improve reliability, and support long term success. This extended stay allows your dog to progress at a steady pace while reinforcing skills through daily structure, repetition, and enrichment.

Throughout the three weeks, dogs work on:

Leash Walking: Developing polite leash manners with increased focus, duration, and gentle real-world distractions.
Sit & Hold: Strengthening impulse control and calm behavior with longer, more consistent holds.
Come (Recall): Building a more reliable recall with added distance and engagement.

The program emphasizes:

Layered Learning: Skills are introduced, reinforced, and expanded over time for clearer understanding.
Consistency & Routine: Daily training sessions paired with rest, play, and enrichment to support learning.

Signature Skills Performance - 4 Weeks

Our Signature Skills is a four-week comprehensive board and train that builds upon the first three week of foundational work while adding advanced skills and real-world practice. This extended stay is designed to create confident, well-mannered dogs through consistency, structure, and purposeful adventure.

Throughout the four weeks, dogs continue to strengthen:

Leash Walking: Polite, focused walking with improved reliability around everyday distractions.
Sit & Extended Holds: Increased impulse control and calm behavior for longer durations.
Come (Recall): A stronger, more responsive recall with added distance, distractions, and engagement.

In this level, we also introduce and develop:

Off Leash Training Foundations: Beginning off leash work in safe, controlled environments to build responsiveness, trust, and a bond with the handler.
Place Command: Teaching your dog to go to while remaining calm on a designated place (bed, mat, or platform), supporting relaxation, boundaries, and structure at home.

Our Outdoor Adventures are thoughtfully incorporated into the program, allowing dogs to practice their skills in real-world environments. These adventures provide mental stimulation, confidence building, opportunities to apply training amid new sights, sounds, and smells all while maintaining controlled safety.

Signature Skills Mastery - 6 Weeks

Our Signature Skills Mastery is an our most complete immersive training experience, thoughtfully combining every element from our Signature training programs into one comprehensive journey. This extended stay allows for deep learning, consistency, real world application, giving dogs the time they need to develop reliable skills, confidence, and lasting habits.

Over six weeks, dogs progress through layers training that includes:

Polite leash walking with improved focus and control.
Sit and extended holds to build impulse control and calm behavior.
Come (recall) with increased reliability, distance, and engagement.

Advanced Skill Development

Off Leash training foundations in safe, controlled environments, emphasizing responsiveness and connection.
Place command for settling calmly on a designated mat, bed, or platform, supporting structure and relaxation.

Real-World Adventure Based Training

Outdoor adventures that allow dogs to practice skills in new environments with real life distractions.
Confidence building through exposure to varied sights, sounds, and situations.

Positive Reinforcement Focus

Our training is fun and stress-free, utilizing treats, toys, and praise. We do not use any form of punishment, ensuring a positive experience for your dog. Training is about communication and building trust.

Essential Commands and Behavior Solutions

Our programs cover key commands like sit, down, heel, recall, and more. We also address common behavioral issues such as barking, jumping, and counter-surfing. For advanced training, we can take your dog off-site with your consent for real-world practice. Public settings can be a great new way to raise your dog’s training criteria and improve your dog’s capabilities.

No Aggression Cases

Please be aware we do not allow dogs with aggression issues in our board and train programs. Please seek another professional trainer if you are looking for aggression training. Aggression issues should be taken seriously and require a considerable amount of time and a professional who can handle those dogs and Dog Daze is not capable of handling those cases. We will be glad to give other trainers to contact.

On-Leash and Off-Leash Training

We primarily train dogs on-leash but offer off-leash training for those who have mastered the recall command. Remote collar training is available upon request, with approval and instruction from our trainer.

Consistency is Key

For lasting results, we emphasize regular practice at home. Short, 10-15 minute sessions 2-4 times a day will help solidify your dog’s progress. Everyone in the household should participate to ensure consistent obedience.
