A Letter to Our Clients Regarding Coronavirus

Hello friends and family of Dog Daze. We wanted to try and ease some worries during this challenging time that we are all a part of. We are still open for boarding, daycare and training, operating our same business hours.

Our daily cleaning and sanitizing protocols have always been above and beyond and we wanted to make sure you’re aware of the extra precautions we’re taking- not only for the safety of your beloved family member, but for our employees who love your pets as their own.

With ongoing guidance from the CDC and local public health authorities, we are continuing with several proactive measures to reduce the risk to our clients. We would like to share with you a few of the everyday precautions we are taking:

We are deep cleaning our facilities daily with hospital grade products targeted towards prevention of infectious diseases.

We are regularly disinfecting public spaces “front of house” (lobby, bathroom, training room), as well as employee spaces “back of house” (kitchen, bathroom, kennels)

We are encouraging cashless transactions, but are still accepting cash payments.

To limit cross contamination between households as much as possible, we are kindly asking our clients to limit what they bring when boarding their dog with us. Please only bring essential items with you, so that we can help reduce any risk of passing the virus along to others. While dogs are safe from this virus, we are trying to limit exposure from personal items brought from home.

We are asking that you only bring your dog’s food, treats and any medication. We also ask that you put your dog’s food into smaller bags that can be easily wiped down. Please don’t bring any large food containers or large bags of food for the time being.

To help us reduce any risk from cross contamination, please refrain from bringing any beds, toys, bones, blankets or large bag or containers of food when boarding with us until further notice. We will be providing for every dog their own bed, blankets, toys and bones for them complimentary of Dog Daze. When you drop off, we will use one of our leashes to take them back to their kennel. You can take the leash, harness and collar back you with for safe keeping until you pick them up.

After evaluating our current processes a few adjustments have been made to facilitate the practice of social distancing. We ask if you have been sick or have been around someone who has, you can call us when you are on the way and we will gladly come out and pick them up from your car. If you do come inside, please limit to only one person accompanying your pet into the building.

We remain committed to ensuring our facilities are where you can turn to for a safe place for your pet, while operating with the utmost care for the well-being of our guests and employees. To keep pace with the incredible speed at which things are changing, we will adapt as needed and will continue to communicate frequently and always with transparency.

We are all in an unprecedented situation and realize that this is an issue that is changing from day to day. We thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

As most family owned small businesses, we rely on your support! Thank You!
